Smith Masonry is a family-owned masonry company founded in 1967 by Don & Ann Smith and run by their oldest son, Bruce, since 1995. Smith Masonry is a union contractor that currently employs around 20 full-time field personnel and 3 office personnel. Because of our small size we can pay close attention to detail and we work hard to clear up issues before they become full-blown problems. We build all types of commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. Many of our projects are municipal water/wastewater treatment plants. Our residential work is limited to historic renovation and preservation. Smith Masonry performs projects throughout Central PA, some areas of Northern PA, and Southern NY. We have received numerous awards over the years. Some of our most prestigious are an Excellence in Masonry Design Award (Institutional category) and a Special Judges Award for Stone Masonry from the Mason Contractors Association of Central Pennsylvania. We have also received many safety awards from the KCA and the Mason Contractors Association of Central Pennsylvania over the years. Smith Masonry is constantly sending its employees to seminars and conventions, striving to keep them up-to-date in all aspects of our industry. We also have a person certified from Edison Coatings for Custom System 45 Masonry Repair, for use in our historic renovation and preservation projects. We work hard to service our customers on the job site and through our office. We maintain a standard of excellence second to none in both our quality masonry work and in our project documentation procedures.
